I have a design for an amazing, on the cheap build or produced as a high-quality, high-performance upgrade for any four-wheel drive vehicle.
It's built using an Independent Suspension differential with CV axle shafts, these axle shafts are enclosed in over-sized axle tubes much like a normal solid-axle only with the axle tubes angled down between 7-40* to keep the differential (pumpkin) clearance very high. This axle design can be used with a front steering axle or a rear axle, and can also be paired with portal gear reduction outers for lower gear ranges and even more ground clearance.
